Sugar-Free Granola

This is the only granola my boyfriend would eat, as he doesn’t like the sweet ones found in stores – even the natural organic ones often have coconut sugar or dried fruit – and he regularly asks me to make it.
The recipe is very versatile and you can put whatever you want in it – or generally for me, what I have at the time in my cupboards! Add dried fruit such as raisins or mango if you really have a sweet tooth (although it won’t be completely fructose-free anymore), or chia seeds and linseed… You’re the master of your breakfast delight! 😀





2 cups oats (choose gluten free oats if you need)
1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup mixed nuts, chopped (whatever you have on hand: cashews, almonds, walnuts, etc.)
1/2 cup mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, pine nuts, sesame etc.)
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1 tbsp cinnamon


Pre-heat the oven to 150 degrees C.
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and once combined, spread it evenly on a baking sheet placed on a baking tray.
Put in the oven for about 15 mins – or until slightly golden. Leave it to cool (feel free to add puffed rice/quinoa or raw cacao nibs at this point if you like for an even more decadent version!) and store in a jar.
